Captured by Him

The most important event of my life happened when I was four years old. My parents used to listen to a radio program called Spiritual Café, which was only 5 minutes long. One day, as I was around, paying attention, I suddenly felt like the Word of God was talking to me. Something new was forming within me as I listened. From then on, I started living with a clear awareness of the existence of God.
This experience made me want to hear more about His word and presence. I grew up with an emptiness and a need for His existence. At 16, I surrendered entirely to Him and received Him as my Savior and Lord. He then became the owner of my love and devotion.
I have always carried a passion for Him and His Word. His presence brings me satisfaction and joy, transforming my ordinary moments into experiences of sweetness and glory.
And the problems? There were many. Like a phoenix, I have risen from the ashes a few times. You know that moment when you think everything is over and there is no more hope? You know when the joy you had and the friends you had are gone? I’ve been there too. But God never gave up on capturing me with His love and showing me that life is worth living and that a relationship with Him is an experience of endless joy.
As I walk with Him, I realize that life is possible, that the peace and pleasure of living a satisfied life are a reality, and that He always leads us beyond what our eyes can see. As well as what our minds can imagine, Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” By His grace, I see He has made progress in my life, which means He can do it in yours, too.
