This blog is about Him

I must express my love and passion for Him in this first post. My proposal here on this platform is to exalt Him, magnify Him, make Him known, and point to His glory, His holy and desirable character. This Café com Deus blog was born so we can drink and be satisfied with Him. My prayer is that He manifests Himself to us.
The following is a translation of the poem MY KING by Dr. S.M. Lockridge to express better what I want to convey to you about the person of Jesus Christ:
MY KING
My King is the King of the Jews. He is the King of Israel. He is the King of righteousness. He is the King of the ages. He is the King of heaven. He is the King of Glory. He is the King of kings. He is the Lord of Lords. This is my King.
I ask you: Do you know Him?
He is sovereign. Neither definitions nor measures can define His limitless love. He is mighty. He is frank. He is eternally faithful. His immortality is gracious. His empire is powerful. His impartiality is merciful.
Do you know Him?
He is the most excellent phenomenon ever occurring on the earthly horizon. He is the Son of God. He is the Savior of sinners. He is the central figure of civilization. He has no parallels. He has no precedents. He is the highest idea in literature. He is the loftiest personality in philosophy. He is the fundamental doctrine of theology. He is the only one qualified and self-sufficient to be the Savior.
Do you know Him today?
He gives strength to the weak. He is available when we are tempted. He loves, and He saves. He strengthens and sustains. He guards, and He guides. He heals the sick. He cleanses the leper. He forgives sinners. He releases debtors. He liberates the captive. He defends the weak. He blesses the young. He serves the disadvantaged. He rewards diligence.
I ask you: Do you know Him?
He is the key to knowledge. He is the source of wisdom. He is the door of liberation. His way is peaceful. He is the road of justice. He is the highway of holiness. He is the gate of glory.
Do you know Him? Good...
His life is incomparable. His goodness is limitless. His love never changes. His words are enough. His grace is sufficient. His kingdom is perfect. His yoke is light. His burden is light.
I wish I could describe him to you. Yes….
He is indescribable; we cannot fully comprehend Him. He is irresistible. You can't get Him out of your mind. You can't let go of His hand. You can't survive without Him. You can't live without Him. The Pharisees couldn't stand Him but found out they couldn't stop Him. Pilate couldn't find any fault in Him. Herod couldn't kill Him. Death couldn't stop Him, and the grave couldn't hold Him.
Yes, that's my King: JESUS CHRIST.
